1.0 Introduction
----------------
The DHX OPC Enterprise Suite includes the following software products:

    - Math & Logic
    - Data Logger
    - OPC Crosslink
    - DHX OPC Server
    - DHX Driver
    - Ethernet DHX Driver
    - Serial DHX Driver
    - DHX Gateway Driver
    - Ethernet CLX Driver
    - Ethernet DHX/CIP Driver
    - ControlLogix Gateway Driver
    - Virtual DHX Driver (32-bit Windows only)

These very well-integrated products provide connectivity to Allen-Bradley
Data Highway, Data Highway Plus, DH-485, DF1, and TCP/IP networks in
distributed environments. They support 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 10/8/7 SP1/
Server 2016/Server 2012/Server 2008 R2 SP1 applications, and 16-bit DOS and
Windows (Win16) applications, and OPC DA and AE clients.  Data Logger supports
MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and Access databases.

2.0 What's New in DHX OPC Enterprise Suite 9.0
----------------------------------------------

2.1 Common Updates
------------------
*  Some configuration editors and utilities did not scale the display properly
   on systems that used the display DPI scaling other than 100%. The problem
   was most noticeable on the new Ultra HD 4K displays. All affected applications
   have been corrected to properly handle the display’s DPI scaling.
   
*  Occasionally,  Windows Updates were corrupting the DHX/CLX devices configuration
   located in the Windows registry. To prevent future corruptions, the configuration
   information has been moved to a different location.
   
*  The Windows Start menu shortcuts are properly installed and handled on all
   supported Windows versions.

*  Some components have been updated to ensure consistency among
   all DHX products.

2.2 DHX Driver
--------------
*  The support for the legacy non-Plug-and-Play adapters, such as the 1784-KT,
   1784-KT2, 1784-KTCX, 1784-KTX, 1784-KTXD from Allen-Bradley, and 5136-SD,
   5136-SD-MCA from SST, has been removed.
   
3.0 Installation
----------------
This procedure will install version 9.0 of the software.

3.1 Installing the Product
--------------------------
The DHX OPC Enterprise Suite uses the Installation Manager for controlling
the installation/upgrading process of the selected DHX products.
To start the Installation Manager, use one of the following procedures:

    Auto-run 
    --------
    Insert the DHX OPC Enterprise Suite DVD into the DVD drive and let the auto-run
    start the Installation Manager.

    Manual start
    ------------
    Run the Setup.exe file found in the DHX OPC Enterprise Suite DVD root directory.
    Click the Start button and select Run from the menu. In the dialog box,
    enter:

        {DVD_drive_letter}:\Setup.exe
 
    Alternatively, you can double click the Setup.exe file from the Windows
    Explorer.

    Note:
        For systems without a DVD drive, you can use a network DVD drive
        to install the DHX OPC Enterprise Suite.

3.2 Uninstalling the Product
----------------------------
To remove the DHX OPC Enterprise Suite, click Programs and Features in the Control
Panel.  Select the Cyberlogic Suites, click the Remove button, and then follow
the on-screen instructions.
